Founded in the mid-1960s through the passion and dedication of Mr. Mario Russo and his wife Silvana, Sartoria Russo began as a small artisanal workshop. It quickly grew, thanks to the founder’s exceptional tailoring skills, the high quality of the craftsmanship, and meticulous attention to detail.

Over the years, the atelier has had the pleasure of working with prominent costume designers and directors, both nationally and internationally, earning a solid reputation in the worlds of cinema, theatre, and television.

Today, the business continues in the heart of Rome under the leadership of Mario and Silvana’s daughters, Roberta and Simona. The atelier houses an extensive archive of garments from various eras, including both authentic vintage pieces and original creations designed by Mr. Mario Russo in collaboration with master artisans who have contributed to the sartoria’s evolution over time.
